RECONSTRUCTION OF A LOG HOUSE

econstruction of a timbered house in Bordovice near Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. The type of construction and the materials used are in harmony with the surroundings of the Beskydy Mountains and the rural architecture of the region. The client purchased the timbered house in very good technical condition.

At the client's request, we sanded the timber frame and then painted it with a varnish of various shades supplied by the client. Both the gallery and gallery railings were replaced with new terrace planks and we unified materials used on the gallery and terrace. In cooperation with the interior designer Petra Šigutová, we managed to convert a classic timbered house into a modern building with elements of traditional timbered house construction techniques.
